7 Low Carb Keto Pre-made Foods That Could Save Your Diet

I purchased seven of the top-rated low carb keto friendly foods and tried them out. This article reviews each and lets you know whether they are worth buying!

I believe we should strive for a whole food diet as much as possible, but sometimes a ready to go low carb option can keep you on track. 

I researched and bought seven top-rated keto/low carbs foods on Amazon for my diet and for this review.  Some items were pre-mixed baked goods that needed prepared while others were ready to eat from the package.  

A couple of the items below are whole foods and low carb keto. While they are not factory-made low carb keto food products, they are still good to have in your pantry!

I’ll provide my review, information on each, and give you my verdict after trying all of them.

The following is my review of some of the highest ranked low carb keto friendly foods on Amazon!

Item #1 SOLA Golden Wheat Low Carb Bread

You get three lofts of bread nicely packaged with care. The slices are about 80% the size of a normal size slice of bread.   They have 3 net grams of carbs per slice which means sandwiches are back on the menu!

The SOLA low carb bread was fantastic! This low carb bread has the texture of normal bread and can be used in the exact same way.  I used it to create some awesome french toast too and overall seems to be a really good product. Here is the link on Amazon if you want to check it out!

Item #2 Good Dee’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

Oh, chocolate chip cookies, how I love you!  You are my favorite!

However, Good Dee’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix is not much better than making them from scratch and is not worth the money, in my opinion.

I have found the online chocolate chip cookie recipes on par with Good Dee’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix and almost as easy to make.

My thought was that a premade mix would better than an online receipt for low carb cookies.

The Dee’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mixes on Amazon was the highest rated chocolate chip cookie mix I could find.  I gladly took the plunge and bought a bag.  

I do say I was a little disappointed.  They were not bad, they just weren’t great either.  The chocolate chips were small crumbles and the cookies had a weird sort of flavor, probably due to the sunflower seed flour being the main ingredient.  They were at best on par with other online low carb recipes I have tried.

Given they are $12.99 for one small 8-ounce bag, they are pretty expensive.  At that price, they need to be better for me to buy again.

Good Dee’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix

Item #3 ChocZero’s Keto Bark 

ChocZero hit the nail on the head with it’s Keto Bark!  It is sweet, dark and satisfying.

These premade chocolate bars beat the DIY approach of melting unsweetened chocolate and sweetening your own.  It is much much easier. 

I am also not a fan of Lily chocolate bars either because they are not dark enough and not sweet enough.  The ChocZero bars are much more what you expect out of a chocolate bar in my opinion. I wish it indicated how much chocolate percentage they have though.

The ChocZero’s Keto Bark has almonds and is sweet but not too sweet.  They come in a bag with 6 individually packaged chocolate bars which are perfect to take on the go.  There are no sugar alcohols and they are sweetened with Monk Fruit Extract too which is one of the healthiest sweeteners.  

I really liked these and they will be a permanent item on my grocery list.

Item #4 Season’s Skinless & Boneless Sardines in Oil (Pack of 12)

Okay, this isn’t some fancy low carb keto product but is something that every man should have in their pantry.   Packing 22 grams of protein and 1700 milligrams of OMEGA-3 fatty acids, these guys have the goods. If you are scared of little canned fishies, then it is time to get over it. 

By buying these in bulk from Amazon you can save about 40% less than the cost in the grocery store.  Once you start eating these, you will want them in bulk!

These little guys are tasty and great to take with you on the go.  I like to add hot sauce on them and eat them for a snack or quick lunch. 

Organic: Yes, considering they are wild-caught

Item #5 Low Karb – Keto Cacao Nut Granola

Something about the chocolatey trail mix like granola that is so irresistible but is also very hard to find as a low carb keto option.  Well in comes the Low Karb Keto Granola. Whether for breakfast or as a snack, this low carb option is a satisfying food. Just try to not eat the whole bag!

A word on the ingredients:  This granola packs a healthy punch of foods that includes 11 ingredients including almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, pecans, and coconut.  It is sweetened with Erythritol and Monk Fruit.

Serving Size: ⅓ a cup

Net Carbs: 3 grams

Verdict:  Highly Recommended!

Item #6 Good Dee’s Low Carb Brownie Mix

Unlike Dee’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix these were really good!  I have tried a few low carb brownie recipes and these definitely took the cake (no pun intended).  The mix makes a good amount. I wouldn’t say 12 servings but more like six. These definitely can stop a chocolate craving in its tracks!

Good Dee’s Low Carb Brownie Mix

#7 Macadamia Nuts

Macadamia nuts, like sardines, are not some low carb concoction, but rather a whole food with much healthier fats than other types of nuts.  

Most nuts are high in OMEGA-6 which can lead to inflammation.  Macadamia nuts are some of the lowest OMEGA-6 nuts out there with about half the carbs as almonds.  In fact, they are one of the lowest nut options out there. I love to eat a handful of these as a snack with some low carb chocolate.
